Psychology Theory
Psychology theory differs from anthropology, economics, political science, and sociology in seeking to capture illustrative generalizations about the mental function and explicit behavior of individuals. However, contrary to this, other disciplines depend more heavily on field studies and historical methods for extracting expressive generalizations. In reality, however, there is much "cross-fertilization" that takes place among different fields. Psychology theory differs from biology and neuroscience in that it is mainly concerned with the interface between mental processes and behavior of a person. It also refers to the common procedures of a system and not merely the biological or neural procedures themselves.
Every field consists of scientific evidence that supports findings. Serial researches are conducted and conclusions are empirically tested to prove they are correct. The psychology field is no different and to deal with social problems, one uses psychology theory developed from various information sources. You can access sources like libraries, magazines, journals and online publications.
The available information is pooled together, which allows professionals to work through it and find solutions that work. This is only possible if the concerned parties are willing to work together. Psychological theories are used in various areas, for instance in criminal investigations. Psychologists use information from police and eye witnesses to come up with theories about criminal behavior and give the police recommendations actions to take.
Sometimes its hard to investigate a criminal but when you apply psychological theory it becomes possible. Eyewitnesses and information from police will guide the criminal psychologist to come up with a theory about criminal's behavior. The findings will dictate the next move and detailed information of the criminal will guarantee accuracy. You can deduct a theory about interactions by reading history books. Major events that happened in history are recorded and are useful as you deal with human interaction.
